This custom fabricated 15-horsepower auger compactor is made with a non-tapered auger to specifically assist with the compaction of dough waste. We also use a cane dumper to ensure the waste is fed at an elevated level, again to assist with the compaction of dough waste and to limit the swing distance of the bucket. With this set up being outside, we include an electrically powered lid to keep the hopper sealed when the dumper is not in use. The cane dumper is surrounded by a safety fence to protect workers and will not operate when the gate is open.
